We are looking for a full time simulator instructor/pilot apprentice to join our growing team at Ascent Aviation. If you live, breath and love aviation then this role may just be for you! Become a full time instructor leading experiences in our Fixed Base B737 Simulator whilst completing fully sponsored training for your Private pilots licence and then your commercial theory exams. for the right applicant this apprenticeship is the perfect stepping stone for anyone wanting a future career in commercial aviation.

Minimum Age: 21 years


Qualifications & Attributes:


  • 5 GCSE’s Grade C or above or Scottish Equivalent

  • Comfortable with teaching and interacting with customers

  • Full UK Driving Licence + own vehicle

  • Drive and Ambition to succeed

  • Passionate about Aviation

  • Able to obtain a Class 1 Medical 




  • Extensive experience working with Prepar3D on Boeing 737

  • Basic Knowledge of 737 systems 

  • Past experience in direct customer facing role

  • Able to provide a reference

  • Ability to live and work unrestricted in the UK


Job Details:


  • 40 hours/week

  • £14,000 Per Annum + Benefits

  • Immediate Start 

  • Business Opening Hours: 

  • Monday-Friday 11am-8pm

  • Saturday & Sunday 9am-9pm

  • 3 Year Bonded Agreement



 Training Package to become a Qualified Private Pilot and on completion ATPL examinations via distance learning.


Job Description: 


  • To provide our customers with the very best service and experience

  • Integrate as part of the Ascent Aviation team, reporting to the Operations Manager

  • Maintain a sound sense of judgement and care when working with customers of all ages and abilities.

  • Adhere to and enforce all health and safety policies during simulator/ training sessions.

  • Study for and gain a UK CAA PPL (SEP LAND) and on successful completion, ATPL Theory Exams. Terms and conditions apply.
